News of the recognizing of the Hawaiian Kingdom Government by the
Secretary of State of the State of Hawaii through the apostille
process created quite a stir in the public. Her Royal Majesty Mahealani
followed her announcement by extending her open invitation to all
individuals and groups to join the efforts of the Hawaiian Kingdom
Government in this transitionary period to build a new, prosperous
Hawaii together. "Our first goal now is to serve all the people
of Hawaii with aloha", she emphasized.
The presentation was preceded by a torch-lit walk to the Kamehameha
statue, to the Ali'iolani Hale Building, and the tomb of King Lunalilo,
with brief commemorations and a ceremony of giving respect to King
Kamehameha the First.
